About Alicia

Alicia is the Owner and Principal Attorney of Alicia Kikuchi Law Firm, PLLC. A native of Seattle – born at Swedish Medical Center on First Hill – she grew up and graduated from high school in Federal Way.

Alicia graduated magna cum laude from Seattle University where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.

During her senior year of college, Alicia worked at a civil legal aid office which further sparked her interest in a legal profession. Shortly thereafter, she began her legal education at Seattle University School of Law – graduating cum laude in 2008. While in law school, Alicia was the Membership co-chair of the Women’s Law Caucus, the Washington Young Lawyer Division-Student Bar Association Liaison, and a member of the Gender and Justice Task Force. As a Rule 9 Intern, she represented the State of Washington in dependency hearings while working for the Attorney General’s Office. She also represented indigent juveniles in criminal proceedings through the Youth Advocacy Clinic.

Before starting her own practice, Alicia was an Associate Attorney a small personal injury firm in Renton. Her current practice continues to focus on personal injury/insurance matters, as well as adoptions, wills, estate planning, and general civil litigation. She is also acts as a Settlement Guardian ad Litem for minors in King County.

Alicia is an active member of Mother Attorneys Mentoring Association of Seattle (MAMAS), King County Bar Association, Snohomish County Bar Association, Washington State Association for Justice (WSAJ), Washington Women Lawyers (WWL), NW LGBT Senior Care Providers Network, and the Council for Women. She was a member of the WSAJ New Member Committee from 2008 – 2012, including acting as chair of the committee for the 2011 – 2012 year, and a member of the WSAJ Diversity Committee. In addition, Alicia was also on the Board for the King County chapter of WWL, acting as the membership and social chairs from 2012-2016.

In her free time, Alicia enjoys reading, traveling, playing with her French bulldog (Napoleon), and spending as much time as possible with her husband and two young sons.
